She has been married twice; firstly to Steven Bochco (who produced NYPD Blue) from 1985 until 1989 when they divorced; then later married actor/director Christopher Henchy whom she met through mutual friends at an event hosted by Rod Stewart where he was performing as part of his tour promoting “Make it Big”
